Phyllis M. Davis

Phyllis M. Davis, age 83, of Onsted, passed away Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016, at Hospice of Lenawee in Adrian, Mich. Phyllis was born July 3, 1933, in Norvell, Mich., to J. Edgar and Margaret (Lemlie) Harris. Phyllis married Robert A. Davis July 14, 1951, and he preceded her in death. She lived all of her life in the Brooklyn and Onsted areas. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and spending time with her family.

Phyllis is survived by one daughter, Patricia (Jeff) Hirsch of Onsted; grandsons, Dakota Brown and Jesse Hirsch; granddaughter, Daisy Hirsch; great-granddaughter, Joanna Brown; and brother, Wayne Harris of Michigan Center. Besides her parents and her husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother, Donald Harris; and two sisters, Arlene Harris and Marilyn Vandeginste.

A memorial luncheon in her honor will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 27, 2016, at the Brooklyn Upper Elementary School cafeteria (formerly the middle school), 321 School St., Brooklyn.
