Norman Olson

Norman (Norm) Olson, 62, died Aug. 10, 2016. He was born Dec. 17, 1953, to Norman and Helen Olson, both of whom preceded him in death.

Norm is survived by his wife, Martha Hicks; children, Crystal Olson, Spring Olson, Jessie (Sheila) Worrick, Benjamin (Angela) Olson, Norman Robert Olson, Christina Parkhurst, Kellie Worrick, Dixie Rose Rider and Carlene Rider; 16 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; sisters, Dorothy (David) Booth, Elizabeth McCarty and Mindy (Craig) Smith; and several nieces and nephews.

Norman enjoyed life and held little back. He had many good times with his friends, and liked living in Florida in the later years of his life.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

A farewell service was held in Florida in his memory. A celebration of life will take place at a later date in Michigan.
