Michael Roger Marsh Sr.

His legacy . . . Michael Roger Marsh Sr., age 75, of Clarklake, returned to the Lord June 3, 2016, at Henry Ford Allegiance Health. Michael was born in Ypsilanti, Mich., Feb. 21, 1941, the son of William and Margaret (Oyer) Marsh. He married Helen Francis July 3, 1964, and she survives.  Michael was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, playing cards, doing crossword puzzles and dining with his beloved wife.

His family . . . In addition to his loving wife of 51 years, Michael is survived by his children, Michele (Samir) Hamid, Michael R. Marsh II, Sheila (Curt) Stanley, Jason (Sharmane) Marsh, Melissa (David) Lowell, Barry (Kristen) Marsh; 27 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Michael was preceded in death by his son, Adrian Case Marsh.

His farewell . . . Michael’s family will greet friends Wednesday, June 8, 2016, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. with a rosary at 7:30 p.m. at the Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Braun Chapel, Brooklyn. On Thursday they will gather at St. Rita Catholic Church, Clarklake, Mich., at 10 a.m. until the time of mass at 11 a.m. with Father Thomas Helfrich as presider.  Interment at St. John Catholic Cemetery.
