Achilles John Joseph Maxson

Achilles John Joseph Maxson, age 5, passed away May 30, 2016. He was born April 1, 2011, in Jackson, the loving little boy of Kathryn Kellk and Corey Maxson. Achilles will be remembered as a happy boy who enjoyed spending time with his daddy, playing video games and watching Cartoon Network. He especially liked playing with his brothers and snacking on dill pickle chips, popcorn or his favorite McDonalds. Achilles had the uncanny ability to dismantle the vacuum cleaner and put it back together. His love of life and family will be cherished by his family. Achilles bright smile and good nature will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Achilles is survived by his loving parents, Kathryn and Corey; siblings, Izaiha and Crixus Maxson; grandparents, Ronda (Rick Stahl) Maxson, Tim (Kristin) Maxson, Patty (Stan Vicki) Shoemake, Karl Kellk; great-grandparents, Fred (Carolyn) Maxson, Sylvia Stahl, Mary Reed, Felton Shoemake, Letitia Stobie; aunts and uncles, Jennifer “Cookie,” Danielle, Adeline, Asland, Malia, Olivia, Alexzander, Jacobzen, Sophia, Shele, and Nick.

Achilles’ family will greet friends Monday, June 6, 2016, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Braun Chapel, Brooklyn. On Tuesday, his family will gather at 10 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Lakes, 8800 N. Rollin Hwy., Addison, until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Steven Newberg officiating. In honor of Achilles, memorial donations may be shared with the family for future designation.
