Her legacy . . . Alice Adams, age 80, of Clarklake, passed away June 10, 2016, at home. She was born Feb. 15, 1936, in DeKalb County, Ind., to John and Bertha (Seaman) Mock. Alice married the love of her life, John Adams in June 1958. She worked as a seamstress at the Custom Drapery Shop in Brooklyn for many years and was involved with the Irish Hills Charitable Quilters and Quilts from the Heart. Most importantly, Alice loved spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her family . . . Alice is survived by her sons, Richard (Janet Smith) and Randall (Bill Sherman) Adams; siblings, Bob (Vickie) Mock, Russ (Carol) Mock and Barb (Conly) George; also many close neighbors, friends, cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family. Alice was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1997; sister and brother-in-law, Dode (John) Kuntz.

Her farewell . . . The family will be planning a memorial service at a later date. In Alice’s honor, memorial donations may be shared with American Cancer Society or charity of donor’s choice.
