Gerald D. Morris

His legacy . . . Gerald D. “Jerry” Morris, age 80, of Brooklyn, passed away Jan. 10, 2017, at home. He was born Sept. 16, 1936, in Detroit, the son of James and Martha (Jenne) Morris. He married Carolyn Hallahan and she preceded him in death after 51 loving years. Jerry was raised in Ecorse and moved to Sweezy Lake later in life where he resided for 35-plus years.

His family . . . Jerry is survived by his children, Mark (Melanie) Morris and Colleen (Michael) Pastula; twin brother, Eugene Morris; grandchildren, Sarah Morris, Craig Morris, Michael (Adriana) Pastula, Alana Pastula. In addition to his wife, Jerry was preceded in death by his step-brother, Allen Bailey.

His farewell . . . A natural farewell has taken place. In honor of Jerry, memorial donations may be shared with the family for future designation.
