Robert Joseph Wall

His legacy . . . Robert Joseph Wall, age 89, of Brooklyn, passed away at home April 21, 2016, under the loving care of his family and Great Lakes Hospice. Bob was born July 18, 1926, in Toledo, Ohio, the son of Leo and Alice (Conlin) Wall. He was the owner/operator of Wall O’Connor Heating and Cooling and retired in 1995. Bob was a member of St. Joseph Shrine Catholic Church and involved in Knights of Columbus Council 6223. He was also a member of the Heating Contractors Association, Boyne Mountain Ski Club, Lake Erie Waterski Club and Volkswagen Club, Toledo.

His family . . . Bob is survived by his children, Chuck and Sandy, Mike and Jeanie Wall, Jeff and Felicia Wall, Kathi and Craig Haugen; grandchildren, Shay and Mike Calamungi; Miranda Steele; Chris, Amanda, Matt, Haleigh, Josh, Krista, Tiffany, Ashlee, and Zac Wall; Lindsey, Amber and Cassie Haugen; and great-grandchildren, Jace and Emma Jean; Gavin, Landon, Ethan, Bella and Colin Wall; Mackenzie and Jasper Haugen; and longtime family friend, Micki Evans. He was preceded in death by his brothers, James and John Leo Wall.

His farewell . . . Bob’s family will greet friends Tuesday, May 3, 2016, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. with prayers at 7 p.m. at the Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Braun Chapel. On Wednesday, Bob’s family will greet friends at St. Joseph Shrine Catholic Church at 10 a.m. until the time of mass at 11 a.m. with Father Bob Pienta as celebrant. Interment St. Joseph Shrine Catholic Cemetery.
