Rebecca L. Adams

Her legacy . . . Rebecca L. Adams, age 80, of Jackson, passed away Aug. 1, 2016, at Hospice Home of Lenawee.  She was born Jan. 22, 1936, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Lloyd and Jean (Rae) Baker.  Rebecca married Robert Adams Oct. 17, 1952, and he preceded her in death in 2009. She was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church for 52 years and had been employed in the dental field until her retirement. Her legacy as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother will be carried in the hearts of her family.

Her family . . . Rebecca is survived by her children, Robert Jr. (Sandra) Adams, Dee (Steve) Taylor-Eberle, Margaret Shouse; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Joanne St. John and Margaret (Ronald) Smith. In addition to her husband, Rebecca was preceded in death by her parents; son, Mark Adams; and three brothers, Kenneth, William and Thomas Baker.

Her farewell . . . Private interment Maple Shade Cemetery, Onsted.  A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Lenawee.
