Nancy Lea (Davis) Pelham

Nancy Lea (Davis) Pelham, age 73, of Adrian, formerly of Onsted, passed away Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at the Hospice Home of Lenawee in Adrian. She was born Oct. 2, 1942, in Jackson, the daughter of Bernard and Virginia (Bean) Davis. Nancy was a bus driver for Onsted Schools for 27½ years.

Surviving are four children, Sheryl of St. Petersburg, Fla., Lori of Onsted, Tad (Paula) of Onsted and Clay of Adrian; nine grandchildren; one soon-to-be-born great-grandchild; two brothers, Thomas (Melanie) Davis of Onsted and Robert (Deb) Davis of Brooklyn; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Colby Rogers.

Cremation has taken place, per her wishes. A celebration of life memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, at the Dunn Chapel, Brown-Van Hemert Funeral Home in Onsted with the Rev. Philip Jones officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Shade Cemetery in Onsted.
