Kenneth Roger Guernsey

                  

Kenneth Roger Guernsey passed away on November 27, 2020, at the Jackson County Medical Facility after a long battle with Parkinson’s disease. He was born October 27, 1931, in Jackson, Mich., to Harvey and Lizabelle (Henman) Guernsey.

He graduated from Brooklyn High School in 1949 and married Wilma Weaver on December 21, 1954, while serving in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked over forty years at the Ford Motor Company beginning as a tool and die maker at the old Brooklyn plant and ended as a prototype engineer at Saline.

Ken was a master craftsman with wood. Family and friends are grateful for his many handmade treasures. Ken loved the many years he sang in the Brooklyn Presbyterian choir and in the area Barbershop choirs and quartets.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James and Robert and his sister, Darlene. In addition to his wife, Ken is survived by his sons, Ronald (Donna) and Randy (Lynn); grandchildren, Quinn (Julia), Kelsey, Cara, Katie, and Kyle; three great-grandchildren; brother, Donald; sister, Luetta Stager and many nieces and nephews.
