James H. ‘Jim’ Hill

James H. “Jim” Hill, of Liberty Twp., Mich., passed away at his home in the loving care of his family. Jim was born Oct. 8, 1940, in Jackson, Mich., to parents Dixon and Dorothy Hill. Jim was married to Diane (Beard) Hill until her death in 2006. Jim was a proud member of Teamsters Union local #164 and drove for ANR Trucking in Jackson for 36 years. He loved golf and hunting but most of all he loved working outside in his yard.

Jim is survived by his loving partner in life, Diana Stuart; one son, Jeff Hill; one daughter, Darcie (Hill) Murry and stepdaughter, Lisa Leonard; five grandchildren, Courtney Hill, Tori Murry, Savanna Murry, Jadden Murry and Christian James Hill; and brother, Rick (Susan) Hill.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Hill, son, Greg Hill; daughter, Deborah Hill; and sister, Linda Conklin. Cremation has been chosen and no services are planned.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Great Lakes Caring Hospice. Services provided by Chas. J. Burden & Son, 1806 E. Michigan Ave., Jackson, 784-3104.
