Gloria K. Hartsuff

Her legacy . . . Gloria K. Hartsuff, age 86, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, sister and cherished friend, went to be with her Lord on July 1, 2016, at Marwood Manor in Port Huron. She was born July 15, 1929, in Jackson, Mich., the daughter of Horace and Katherine (Ettig) Cole. Gloria married the Rev. Donald K. Hartsuff and he preceded her in death after 65 years of blessed marriage.

Her family . . . Gloria is survived by her children, Dennis (fianceé Cynthia Anderson) Hartsuff, Vicki (Daniel) O’Barsky; sister-in-law, Carole Hartsuff; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, great-great-nieces and -nephews. In addition to her husband, Gloria was preceded in death by her brother, Max Cole; nephew, Jeffrey Cole; and niece, Amy (Whitaker) Hartsuff.

Her farewell . . . Gloria’s family will greet friends Thursday, July 7, 2016, at the Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Braun Chapel, Brooklyn, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. On Friday, the family will gather at 10 a.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church in Brooklyn until the time of the Eucharistic Celebration at 11 a.m. Interment at Highland Cemetery.
