Sharon Sue Ruble

Her legacy . . . Sharon Sue Ruble, 77, passed away March 28, 2019.  She was born on August 12, 1941, in Kansas City, Mo., to Kenneth O. and Ethel (Zavodsky) Bratcher. Sharon graduated from the University of Arizona where she obtained a master’s degree in chemistry and education. She was a chemistry teacher in Saline for over 20 years. Sharon was a world traveler and she went on many trips with National Geographic Expeditions. She loved playing bridge, euchre, and pool and never missed a party. Sharon was an avid animal lover where she volunteered at Cascade Humane Society often bringing unwanted animals home to care for.  A real go-getter, Sharon lived life right up to the end. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Her family . . . Sharon will be missed by her cousin, Linda (Dennis) Yakel; brother in-law, Harold (Carol) Hilliard; brother in-law, Gayle (Patsy) Ruble; nephew, Gayle (Leslie) Jr. and their children. She was preceded in death by her parents, mother, Ethel May and step-father, Murray Briggs; her husbands, Larry Ruble and Jerry Hilliard and step-sister, Sylvia Jean Briggs.

Her farewell . . . Sharon’s family and friends will gather for a private farewell service at Borek Jennings Funeral Home, Braun Chapel. Interment to take place at Highland Cemetery.
