Anis Marie Lowe

Her legacy . . . Anis Marie Lowe, 74, passed away suddenly at her home on November 24, 2019. She was born on December 17, 1944, in Kenton, Ohio to Henry Clay and Bertha (Reffitt) Bradley. Anis married Bobby Poe in August of 1961, he preceded her in death in March of 1962. After the loss of Bobby, she met a wonderful man, Dean Lowe. On September 14, 1963, in Peru, Ind., Anis and Dean were married enjoying 56 devoted years together and raised three children. Anis worked 25 years at ITT Hancock in Jackson, Mich., and was a member of the UAW Local 670. Following her retirement, she loved to travel and go camping. She enjoyed Blue Grass Music and going to Blue Grass Festivals. Anis was known for going “garage-sale-ing” and gifting her newfound treasures. She loved her family, those near and far; she especially loved her grandchildren and great-“grandbabies”. Anis’ was known for her loving and caring nature as well as her smile and laughter that could contagiously light up a room. She will be missed by all those who knew her and loved her.

Her family . . . Anis will be missed by her loving husband, Dean; her caring children, Tonyia (Jeffrey) Eineder of Grass Lake; Dean E. Lowe II of Leoni and Donald (Christine) Lowe of Grass Lake; her siblings, Ronnie “Pete’’ (Hedy) Bradley of Napoleon;  Sue  (Jerry) Oehlers of Rives Junction; Patricia (Jim) Smith of Jackson; her beloved grandchildren, Bethany (Tyler) Hastie, Dean E. Lowe III, Jeffrey (Kristin) Eineder Jr., Nicholas (Aimee) Lowe, Kaitlynn Eineder, Cheyanne “Noah” Lowe, Robert Eineder,  Nathan Lowe  and eight adored great-grandbabies with two on the way. Anis is also survived by many nieces, nephews and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby; her parents, Henry and Bertha; step-father, Seymour Cole; her brothers, Wayne Bradley and Gene Ousley, one grandbaby, Jessica Eineder and one great-grandbaby Gabriel Eineder.

Her farewell . . . Anis’ family and friends will gather 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Friday, November 29, 2019, at The Federated Church of Grass Lake (519 East Michigan Ave, Grass Lake, MI 49240) with her farewell service beginning at 2 p.m. with Pastor Chuck McNeil officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to Grass Lake Federated Church. The family would like to thank the Grass Lake Fire Rescue for everything they did.
